Woodex 2023 Press release: 194 exhibitors, 7 exhibition sectors and a rich business programme

WOODEX 2023 - the 18th International Exhibition of Equipment, Materials and Components for the Woodworking and Furniture Industry will be held from the 28th of November to the 1st of December 2023 in the first pavilion of the Crocus Expo IEC.

Today, the most pressing issue for these industries is the supply of equipment and import substitution.

The Woodex exhibition provides a unique opportunity over four days to get acquainted with all the offers on the market and choose the most suitable products and solutions for the development of enterprises in this industry.

The Digital Furniture Forum is the largest platform for communications of the professional community of the furniture and woodworking industry. Invited experts will share the main industry trends.

The Digital Furniture Forum exposition will occupy the entire hall No. 2. The exposition will feature 3 key equipment areas: furniture production, solid wood processing, and door production.

In each of the areas will be demonstrated world premieres of new equipment in operation, automated lines and robotic cells. Visitors will be able to communicate directly with representatives of manufacturing plants onsite.

The Digital Furniture Forum business programme will be held in the conference hall F during the three days:

On November 28, as the part of the exhibition business programme, the Conference “Energy from Biomass: Boiler Houses and CHP Plants on Biofuel, Production of Pellet, Briquettes and Wood Chips” will be held - Conference Hall B, Pavilion 1. The event is paid, registration is required.

The event will discuss the latest trends in the production and marketing of various types of biofuels, primarily wood pellets, briquettes, and wood chips. The topic of burning biofuels to produce energy will also not be left aside - presentations by leading equipment suppliers will be of interest to everyone. Quite a lot of attention during the event will be paid to the carbonization and torrefaction of biofuel: the production and sale of charcoal briquettes. In addition, the topic of subsidizing the conversion of boiler houses to biofuel and the development of the domestic market for the use of pellets, briquettes and other types of biomass will be raised.
